Obama’s Presidency campaign was one of the most successful campaigns in history connecting instantaneously with millions across America and the Globe via social networks (Twitter and Face book) and leveraging the small but significant contributions of thousands of donors. More than $10 million of Obama’s second-quarter contributions were made online, and 90% of them were in increments of $100 or less. Nearly, 9,500 volunteers signed up to solicit their friends and families by hosting individual fund-raising. They created web pages for Obama. Some of them raised funds by inviting people to contribute according to their height-10 bucks a foot, and then a dollar an inch. These viral strategies were further strengthened through emails and social networking websites.
